Chiefs vs Redskins Live stream. Predictions for Chiefs vs. Redskins, Week 4, Kansas City Chiefs vs. Washington Redskins: Prediction, preview, pick to win
Much of my prediction hinges on whether left tackle Eric Fisher will play. If Fisher doesn’t play, the Chiefs could be in trouble against a tough Washington defense. KICKOFF: Monday, 8:30 p.m. ET, Arrowhead Stadium, TV: ESPN, Sean McDonough, Jon Gruden, Lisa Salters (Field reporter). Coach Andy Reid is an elite coach though so he may find a way to succeed without him. The Chiefs defense will be a huge factor in this game. Kirk Cousins and Washington’s offense saw a ton of success against the Raiders, but KC’s defense is much better overall. The key for the Chiefs is to force turnovers and continue to dominate in the red zone.
SERIES HISTORY: 10th regular-season meeting. Chiefs lead series, 8-1. The Redskins haven’t played at Arrowhead Stadium since 2005 due a quirk in the NFL schedule. Washington has lost its past six games to Kansas City, including a 45-10 defeat on Dec. 8, 2013. The lone victory in the series for the Redskins was Sept. 18, 1983, a 27-12 win. Overall, I think this game will be close with the Chiefs pulling away in the fourth quarter like they’ve done every game this season.
The Chiefs will be a hurting unit going into their Monday night game against the Redskins. Mitch Morse and Dee Ford have already been ruled out and Eric Fisher is a game-time decision. If Fisher is a no go it’s going to create a huge void in an already inconsistent offensive line. Smith will need to get the ball out very quickly and perhaps be in shotgun and the pistol more often.
