The Pittsburgh Panthers will be eager to end a three-game losing streak when they host the Rice Owls at Heinz Field on Saturday afternoon. Rice quarterback Sam Glaesmann missed last weekend’s 13-7 loss to Florida International with an injury to his non-throwing shoulder. His status for Saturday’s date with Pittsburgh is not yet known. Jackson Tyner replaced Glaesmann against FIU and completed 15 of 26 passes for 131 yards with no touchdowns and one interception. Tyner rushed for one score and also had a 17-yard reception on a heave from wide receiver Parker Smith.
